Supporting your independence at home
Our goal is not simply to complete household tasks, but to support participants in maintaining their independence and quality of life. Where appropriate, we encourage participants to be actively involved in daily household activities while providing the assistance they need.
Every support plan is personalised to your individual needs, preferences, and NDIS goals, ensuring services are delivered in a respectful, flexible, and person-centred way.
How Domestic Assistance is funded through the NDIS
Domestic Assistance is generally funded under the Core Supports budget within the Assistance with Daily Life support category of an eligible participant’s NDIS Plan.
Funding may be available for reasonable and necessary household supports that participants are unable to complete independently because of their disability.
Examples of funded household supports may include:
- General house cleaning
- Laundry and linen changes
- Meal preparation
- Dishwashing
- Household organisation
- Essential household maintenance tasks (where applicable)
The supports available depend on your individual NDIS Plan, goals, and approved funding.
